Registration and Installation Instructions

 

SPSS 14 Software

UTMB has a 30 concurrent user license for SPSS.  The software is distributed by Academic Resources.   Click the link above to register and view the installation instructions.  SPSS no longer runs from the server.  You will need to install the full application on your computer and the application will connect to a central license server to ensure that the license count is not exceeded.

Windows OS is required.  Sorry a Macintosh version is not available.

System Requirements:

  • Operating system: Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, and Me are the preferred platforms. Microsoft® Windows 98 is also supported.
  • Hardware: Intel® Pentium®-compatible processor
  • Memory: 256MB RAM minimum
  • Minimum free drive space: 300MB
  • SVGA monitor
  • Web browser: Internet Explorer 6.0
