Developmental Support for Web-Based Curriculum
The Moody Medical Library's Academic
Technology Center (ATC) supports the development of multimedia instructional
material for a web-based educational environment. This is accomplished
by providing consultation, training, and production services and by
providing ready access to development tools and equipment.
Consulting
By drawing on the expertise of its staff, the ATC helps shape
and focus ideas
related to instruction.

- Planning
projects - Assist in the design of computer-assisted instruction,
especially Web-based materials.
- Developing
multimedia instruction.
- Coordinating
and contracting professional services that are currently outside
the ATC's scope or require very advanced equipment.
- Recommending
certified training classes on web-based multimedia software

Education
Through
classes, workshops, and laboratory sessions, the ATC provides
instruction to those interested in developing web-based course
materials.
