Academic Resources provides computer testing labs at two convenient locations the Learning Resource Center (LRC) and the Moody Medical Library (MML).

Scheduling can be done:

By contacting B.J. Jewell at 409-772-2384 for the Library's Online Testing Center,
by contacting the Front Desk at 409-772-3025 for the Learning Resource Center Testing Labs or

To request online, please enter your email username or employee/student ID:  GO

Cancellations must be received at least one day before the exam.

Learning Resource Center (LRC) - SON/SAHS Building

Testing Hours: M - F 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sa/Su Closed
Rooms 1.802 (Lab1), 1.802H (Lab 2), and 1.804 (Lab 3)

The Learning Resource Center offers 3 computer labs for testing

COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS
500 MHZ processor, 64mb RAM, 6g hard drive, read only CD-ROM, 3.5 floppy drive

SOFTWARE
Available software includes Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), SPSSWIN, and the Internet (Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape).

All software is accessible only through the LRC computer labs and is not available on a dial-up basis

RESERVED COMPUTER LABS
Weekly computer lab class schedules are posted every Monday morning on the door of each lab stating the times the room is reserved for class sessions.

The LRC strives to keep one lab available at all times for individual use. But, because of heavy class requirements during certain periods of the semester, there may be times when all labs are reserved for classes.

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Installation of software must be approved in advance and must comply with the LRC Software Installation Guidelines. Faculty who wish to have software installed on LRC computers are asked to complete a Request for Software Installation in LRC Computer Labs Form available at the Front Desk.

Unauthorized installation of software in the LRC computer labs is prohibited. Unauthorized software will be removed by LRC staff.

Moody Medical Library

Testing Hours: M-F 7:30 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Sa 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.; (available upon special request) Su 1p.m.-11 p.m.
Room: Online Testing Center (Second floor)

Moody Medical Library offers the Online Testing Center for computer testing.

SOFTWARE

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Faculty who wish to have exam software installed on library computers are asked to contact BJ Jewell at bjjewell@utmb.edu or phone 409-772-2384

Unauthorized copying of software in the computer labs is prohibited. Unauthorized software will be removed by library staff.
