LRC Reserve Policy

The LRC Reserve Shelf may include videotapes, computer disks, audiocassettes, or books. Computer software may be placed on computers by request at the LRC Front Desk.

Faculty members placing items on the Reserve Shelf are to complete a Reserve Materials Request located at the Front Desk. The following information is required:

  • Course # and Title
  • Item name
  • Instructor's name and department
  • Date to make reserve item available
  • Date to remove item from reserve status
  • Room # for returned materials
  • Department secretary's name, room number, and extension

The LRC requires that three copies be made of all print material. One copy will be available on the Reserve Shelf, one copy will be sent to the library, and one copy will be kept in the Master File to be available for replacing lost or damaged copies.
