Writing Good Goals and Objectives

Given an assortment of normal and abnormal x-rays
Given a computer with a web browser,
Having put on a blindfold,
Having correctly demonstrated steps 1-3,

*Not only must the goal be measurable, the measurement must be meaningful. Vague or unmeasurable goals will produce vague or unmeasurable results. For example: "The student will be exposed to. . ." or "The student will be shown. . ."
While it is fairly easy to devise evaluation tools for verbal skills, intellectual skills, and motor skills, it is much more challenging, but not impossible, to devise evaluation tools for changes in attitude. A student may be able to parrot the "rules" back to the instructor, without ever adopting the desired attitude change. Evaluation can only be indirect, and generally requires observation for changes in behavior.
