Cited Reference Searching and the Web of Science

Want to know how many times an article has been cited in the literature? Interested in the number of times a particular author has been cited? After attending this class, you will be able to answer those questions and locate articles on a particular topic by learning techniques to effectively search the Web of Science database. Web of Science is produced by the Institute for Scientific Information and provides online access to the Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index from 1975 to the present.
