Most journals provide free table of contents alerting services. The exact procedure for establishing alerts will vary by journal publisher. Alerts may be in email format or RSS feed. A handout detailing services of major journal providers for the Library's electronic journals is also available.

A Journal Scan service which provides a photocopy of the table of contents for journals that the Libray receives in print is also available.
- Contents pages are photocopied and dispatched immediately upon receipt of the journal by the Library.
- The cost of this service is 15 cents per page.
- Contents pages may be delivered via campus mail, held at the Library's Circulation Desk for pick-up, or posted to your ILLiad account.
