Multimedia Lab

The Academic Technology Center (ATC) hosts a multimedia lab that specializes in helping you prepare multimedia for the Web. There is a workstation available for faculty and their representatives to:

  • Prepare digital imagery for the web:
    · Create and edit images
    · Retouch and enhance photos
    · Digitize existing photographs, illustrations and 35mm slides
    · Download images from a digital camera
  • Narrate and Digitize (music and voice)
  • Digitize and edit video
  • Build and manage websites

  • Convert existing text to browser readable formats
    · OCR scanning software for existing print documents
    · Convert word processing files into HTML
    · Produce PowerPoint presentations for the Web
    · Create PDF files for the Acrobat browser plug-in

The lab is self-serve and has a repository of How to Guides and Computer Software Training Videos to assist you in the the development of your media.
