The Moody Medical Library's Academic Technology Center (ATC) supports the development of multimedia instructional material for a web-based educational environment.

Working closely with content experts, the ATC helps faculty and staff develop multimedia educational course work by :

- Designing, developing and producing web sites, case studies or small units of instruction that support teaching and learning.
- Designing, developing, producing and digitizing illustrations, photos, animations, narration, music and video for the web.

The ATC also hosts a multimedia lab for the Do-it-Yourselfers.

We provide support services and access to the equipment needed to digitize images, text ,sound and video.

There is a workstation available for faculty & their representatives to:
- Prepare digital imagery for the web:
Create and edit images
Retouch and enhance photos
Digitize existing photographs, illustrations & 35mm slides
- Narrate and Digitize sound (music and voice)
- Digitize and edit video
- Build and manage websites
- Convert existing text to browser readable formats
If your job requires highly specialized equipment, the ATC staff can assist you in identifying, consulting and contracting professional services that require advanced equipment. |
