Sigmaplot for UTMB |
SigmaPlot is a scientific graphing and analysis tool with a comprehensive feature list. In addition to producing publication quality graphs, SigmaPlot also can perform mathematical transforms and statistical analyses. This version contains several other new features as well.
Academic Resources is pleased to provide the UTMB research community with the site license for SigmaPlot for Windows. Our license agreement with Systat Software Inc. provides 250 user licenses for this program.
SigmaPlot License & Software
Please check the system requirements prior to requesting a license. Our site license does not include a Macintosh version.
To obtain the software you must complete a user license request (see below). You must provide the required information and agree to the license terms. Also remember that the site license does not allow you to call Systat Software for SigmaPlot technical support; you must obtain support by calling
Academic Computing at 409-772-8400
or Academic Resources at 409-772-4800
You will be sent instructions by email almost immediately after your
request is submitted. If the instructions do not arrive within thirty minutes,
please call Academic Computing at 409-772-8400 for assistance.
Temporary access to the install site will be enabled and you will receive
the serial number to use in the installation process. You can then download
the software and complete the installation
instructions. You are limited to two installations of SigmaPlot.
Peer Technical Support Contacts
Academic Resources personnel do not have expertise in using such specialized programs as SigmaPlot. We hope to rely on the user
community to provide support to their peers. If you agree we will publish your contact information to identify
peer support.
Our license provides only a single contact for site license support which is coordinated through Academic Computing at 409-772-8400. Help may also be obtained in various sections of this web site and from the SigmaPlot website: http://www.systat.com/products/SigmaPlot. IMPORTANT: If you currently are a licensed SigmaPlot user and you wish to retain the capability to directly contact SigmaPlot technical support, then please do not request a user license under this program.
