| Goals |
| 1. To provide the student with an experience in geriatric consultation and pre‑operative assessment. 2. To learn systematic evaluation of common clinical problems of the elderly. 3. To understand comprehensive geriatric assessment. |
| Objectives |
| Student will improve their ability to: 1. Appreciate the importance of multidisciplinary care in the evaluation and management of older patients. 2. Evaluate and manage common clinical problems in the elderly, including pre-operative assessment. 3. Organize appropriate discharge planning and follow‑up of older patients. |
