Goals
 1. To participate in the delivery of primary health care in a foreign country. 2. To become familiar with important issues of primary health care in the international arena. 3. To begin to understand the relationship between public health, underlying determinants of health and the health of populations.

Objectives
The student and faculty advisor will jointly develop learning objectives for this experience. The focus is on public health, community health and health education as key components of a primary health care system. Concepts which should be covered include: systems of health care delivery in other countries; epidemiology in developing countries; community and cross cultural aspects of health care; clinical decision-making with limited diagnostic resources.

Description of course activities
The student will work with the Director (or a mutually negotiated alternative faculty advisor) to identify opportunities in various parts of the world in order to have a participatory experience in primary health care. The student will be assigned some basic required readings in international health before going abroad. An on-site advocate and clinical supervisor will be defined for each student. Specific activities will depend on the learning objectives negotiated between student and faculty advisor. The student will submit a written report on the experience to the advisor.wellbutrin online cozaar advil zithromax phentermine online purchase phentermine order soma online naproxen generic zyrtec buy ultram generic lipitor phentermine online generic wellbutrin generic xanax buy soma diflucan order cialis prevacid viagra online allegra wellbutrin online hoodia online norvasc lorazepam ambien online purchase viagra soma buy phentermine generic prevacid cheap adipex phentermine online cetirizine lasix viagra generic phentermine famvir imovane augmentin order valium online celecoxib zestril generic prozac buy xenical order phentermine cheap alprazolam purchase valium zyrtec tylenol cheap viagra online buy ultram online generic cialis buy propecia order soma viagra online buy hydrocodone metformin

Type of students who would benefit from the course
This course is particularly valuable for students interested in international health care, health care for disadvantaged populations and medical practices where there is limited access to modern technology. Students do not have to have completed 3rd year clerkships to enroll in this elective, but would benefit from having had either Fam Med, Peds or IM.
